Dear Reader:

Let me take the stress out of planning what to do for your next PTA meeting or school function. Children and adults love to be entertained. What could be better than a skit that is funny and keeps the audience’s attention from start to finish?  Night Light is a delightful story about a little girl named Ruth Ann and the process of getting her to go to bed. The audience is invited along to help me find Ruth Ann as she plays hide and seek to prolong going to bed.  She also counts toys, bubbles, bunny hops and stars. How many bunny hops will it take for Ruth Ann to reach her bed? The children will love counting along with Ruth Ann and parents will relate to her antics.

The mini interactive skit will appeal to grades K-2, as well as the young at heart. This will also give parents and children a chance to meet a local author. Following the performance of Night Light parents and children will have an opportunity to ask questions about the creative process. The program will conclude with a selected interactive poem.

I have written two books, Night Light and Tabby’s Great Adventure, about a cat who dreams of space travel. My third book The Day Homer Hedge Hodge Laughed will be complete by late spring. I also enjoy writing poetry. My poem Spindle- Weave will be part of a display at the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History.

Please feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail to schedule a time for me to visit your school.

Best regards,
