Author Angela D. Harris was born in Maryland where she graduated from Anne Arundel Senior High School. She now resides in Danville Virginia. She works in the Health Care field as a Patient Account Representative.  She is married to Sylvester and they have two children.

    Angela received an Associate Degree from Danville Community College in Business Management and her B.A. in Liberal Arts from the University of Richmond.

     She serves as a member of the Parent Advisory Committee and works with the Title 1 Book Buddies Program. Angela also volunteers at various elementary schools where she shares her stories with the children.

     Night Light is the first book Angela published. Her second was Tabby’s Great Adventure. She is working on two more children’s books, The Day Homer Hedgehog Laughed and There Once Was a Land, soon to be completed. When Angela is not writing children’s stories, she likes to write poetry and short stories. She is also currently working on a short story called Sophie’s Dance. She has had several of her poems and short stories published in Danville Community Colleges literary journal as well as in the University of Richmond’s literary journal.
